CSC-237 C++ Programming In this course, students who already have been exposed to programming and Object Oriented thinking, develop the ability to correctly analyze a variety of problems and generate appropriate algorithmic solutions using the C++ Programming Language. The course emphasizes the principles of top-down structured design and Object Oriented thinking. Topics include but are not limited to branching and looping mechanisms; arrays, functions and function overloading, arguments by reference and by value as well as optional arguments; recursion; pointers, creating libraries and namespaces, structures and classes, constructors and other methods, overloading operators; file I/O; inheritance and polymorphism. Strong analytical skills are recommended for students enrolling in this course.
