VMA-130 Social Media Strategy In this course, students will explore techniques and strategies of social media marketing and public relations that can be used to promote a company, and individual or a product. Through case studies and exercises students will learn how to identify business objectives and how a marketing campaign is created. Students will learn to reach an audience through an integrated marketing approach that uses social media, online video, podcasts, mobile apps, blogs, news releases, viral marketing, marketing, print and other current tools and channels. Career pathways will be identified and explored. Prerequisites ENG-095 or ELL-103 and MAT-093 or higher or placement. Gen. Ed. Course No Mass Transfer Course Yes Credits: 3
