HIS-151 US History: Colonization through the Civil War

This course traces the growth and development of America from colonial beginnings through the Civil War. The course devotes major attention to the people, critical issues, and significant forces that determined the course of events that shaped our civilization. This course meets the General Education requirement for Community and Cultural Contexts.
Prerequisites Grade of C or higher in ESL-098  or RDG-095  and a grade of C or higher in ENG-095 ; or a grade of C or higher in ELL-103 .
