HIS-111 History of Pre-Modern World

This course examines similarities and differences among the major world civilizations before the modern era. Topics include traditions of governance, art, religion and philosophy, technology, family structure, and everyday life. The course meets the General Education requirement for Community and Cultural Contexts.
Prerequisites Grade of C or higher in ESL-098  or RDG-095  and a grade of C or better in ENG-095 ; or a grade of C or higher in ELL-103  or placement.
