EDU-201 Introduction & Foundations of Education

This course is designed for students interested in entering the teaching profession with children K-12. Principles, history, philosophy, functions of the school, policies, and current trends are included. Field experiences in area schools are required. The course is best suited for AA Education majors, but others are welcome to enroll.
Prerequisites Grade of C or higher in   RDG-095  or ESL-098  and ENG-095 , or ELL-103  or placement.
