SOC-207 Criminology This course examines various aspects of crime from the perspective of the sociologist. The course emphasizes social structure/social process theories of social disorganization and crime causation. Other topics include the history of criminology, the nature and extent of crime, the measurement of crime, criminal typologies, public order crime, victims, and victimization.
