LIT-203 Literature in America I


This course traces the physical, moral, and psychological development of an emerging nation through its literature. The course examines themes of sin, guilt, justice, and equality in the historical movement of the nation from colonial settlement to westward expansion. The course includes works representative of the ethnic and racial diversity of American culture. This course meets the General Education requirement for Creative Work.
Prerequisites ENG-111  or any LIT course earning a minimum grade of C.
