FLM-110 Sound and Picture: The Languages of Cinema


Students will develop an understanding of traditional filmmaking practices by studying the concept of “the shot” as the basic building block of moviemaking. After learning to define and frame effective shots, they will study techniques for filming and editing a conversation. Applying these techniques, they will create their own filmed conversation and upload this film as an item in their portfolio.
