CRJ-208 Criminal Investigation

This course identifies the fundamentals of criminal investigation within the criminal justice system. The duties and responsibilities of the investigator, both in the field and in the courtroom, are emphasized. The course explores the fundamental components of interviewing and interrogation. Issues concerning rules and chain of custody of evidence will be explored.
Prerequisites Grade of C or better in ENG-111 , CRJ-101 , and CRJ-103  or permission of instructor.
